What is RAM?

Remote Area Medical (RAM) is a nonprofit organization committed to improving access to healthcare by providing free, high-quality medical, dental, and vision services to underserved and uninsured populations. Since its founding in 1985, RAM has operated mobile pop-up clinics across the United States and around the world, offering vital care to individuals who otherwise lack access to affordable health services. Through partnerships with local volunteers, students, and healthcare professionals, RAM continues to bridge gaps in care and strengthen community health one clinic at a time.

A Message from Our President

Welcome to RAM!

As President, I am incredibly proud of the work our organization does to bring students together around service, advocacy, and meaningful change. RAM was built on the idea that even small actions can have a lasting impact, and every member who joins us contributes something valuable to that mission.

Our organization is more than just a club. It is a community of passionate, driven people who care deeply about making a difference both on campus and beyond. Whether we are organizing events, volunteering at clinics, or creating new opportunities for involvement, we are always striving to leave a positive impact.

I invite you to explore our website, learn more about our mission, and see the work we are doing. We are always excited to welcome new members, new ideas, and new ways to grow together.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

Sincerely,
Malini Raghu
President, RAM
